WHO: Fauja Singh, The Turbaned Tornado, 100 year-old British Sikh marathoner. Set M90+ marathon and Half marathon World Records at STWM 2003 & 2004!

WHAT: attempt to set EIGHT new WORLD RECORDS on the track from 100m to 5000m; before he attempts to become the first 100 year old on the planet to complete the classic 42.195 km marathon distance in Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon on Sunday.

WHERE: Birchmount Stadium, Kingston Road & Birchmount

WHEN: 8am to noon. Admission to the Grandstand FREE.

7:50am Arrive at Birchmount car park

8:00am Available for interviews until access to track possible.

8:10am Warm up at trackside

8:15am Fauja, Nirmal, Harmander Singh, 1 Sikhs In The City member and four locals run 100m

8:20am Fauja, Nirmal, Harmander, 1 SITC member and four locals run 200m

8:25am Fauja, Nirmal, Harmander, 1 SITC member and four locals run 400m

8:35am Fauja, Nirmal, Harmander, SITC members and some locals run 800m

8:45am Fauja, Nirmal, Harmander, SITC members and some locals run 1500m

9:10am Fauja gives short interview to prevent him getting too cold.

9:15am Fauja, Nirmal, Harmander, SITC members and some locals run the mile

9:35am Fauja, Nirmal, Harmander, SITC members and some locals run 3000m

10:10am Fauja, Nirmal, Harmander, SITC members and some locals run 5000m

11:00am After recovery exercise, warm down and ready for interview with media

11:15am Following a comfort break, back to hotel for shower
