“Sometimes there are just no words to express how you are feeling when you're living with cancer. Painting is a powerful way to let your hands do the talking.”
Who we are:
The ART for Cancer Foundation is a volunteer run, non-profit charitable organization, established in 2010 with a mission to improve the quality of life of people living with cancer, by providing an outlet for creative expression through the arts.
What we do:
We offer free creative expression programs for people living with cancer. Our programs introduce people living with cancer, their families and care providers to the emotional healing power of the creative process. We facilitate an environment where they can escape, explore and express their feelings through creative endeavours like painting, drawing and other artistic processes.
On Sunday, October 19th, connect with your heart — Walk, Run or Wheel for ART for Cancer Foundation.
We are very proud to be participating for the second time in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge. Our goal is to raise $25,0000 with your help. Your support will enable us to continue to deliver creative programs to people living with cancer, (patients, families and care providers).
