“Sometimes there are just no words to express how you are feeling when you're living with cancer.
Painting is a powerful way to let your hands do the talking.”
The ART for Cancer Foundation is a volunteer run, non-profit charitable organization, established in 2010 with a mission to improve the quality of life of people living with cancer, by providing an outlet for creative expression through the arts.
We offer free creative expression programs for people living with cancer. Our programs introduce people living with cancer, their families and care providers to the emotional healing power of the creative process. We facilitate an environment where they can escape, explore and express their feelings through creative endeavours like painting, drawing and other artistic processes.
We are very proud to be participating for the third year, in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge. Our goal is to raise $35,0000 with your help, this is our main fundraising event of the year. Your support will enable us to continue to deliver creative programs to people living with cancer (patients, families and care providers).
