We have all experienced the loss of a loved one. Whether it is your mother, father, grandparent, sibling, partner or child, this loss can be devastating. Being able to reach out to others who are experiencing a similar loss is crucial to the healing process. Bereaved Families of Ontario-Toronto provides a safe and confidential setting where you can talk about how your loss has affected your life, learn about grief, and develop coping strategies.
On October 18, 2015, Toronto will be hosting the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, and once again BFO-Toronto will be taking part in the STWM Charity Challenge. Join us in our Walk to Remember on October 18th to remember those loved ones that we've lost but haven't forgotten. You are free to run in any of the three events — the 5K walk, the half-marathon and the full marathon. If you are unable to join us in the walk/run, we would still sincerely appreciate and greatly benefit from your financial support. The Walk to Remember is our signature fundraising event, and every dollar raised goes directly towards our bereavement support groups. Help us "help the healing begin" for other bereaved individuals.
