Walk to Remember… our loved ones

Bereaved Families of Ontario-Toronto

We have all experienced the loss of a loved one. Whether it is your child, spouse/partner, mother, father, grandparent, sibling or close friend, the loss is devastating. Being able to reach out to others who are experiencing a similar loss is crucial to the healing process. BFO-Toronto provides a safe and confidential setting where you can talk about how your loss is affecting your life; learn about grief, and how to develop coping strategies.

By joining our 'Walk to Remember' team and supporting our team through pledges for our organization, you will honour your loved one and also help ensure that grief counselling and support groups are available to bereaved children, adults and their families coping with the loss of their loved one. Your participation in our "walk to remember" will ensure that grieving people across Toronto are able to participate in our support groups free-of-charge.

Please join our team in raising funds for all those in our community who need support in learning to live with the “new normal”. Our goal for this year is to raise a minimum of $10,000. Reaching our goal will allow the BFO-Toronto to provide bereavement support for:
