Why run with us?
The Children’s Aid Foundation believes the way children are treated today determines the kind of adults they will become tomorrow. Children need equal opportunities to reach their full potential, through love, care, guidance and encouragement, as well as educational experiences in both formal and informal settings.
When these things are lacking, children often grow up to be distressed adults incapable of leading satisfying, productive lives. With the odds against them the opportunity arises to become the parents of another generation of disadvantaged children, trapped in a self-perpetuating cycle of poverty, inadequacy, illiteracy and despair.
We realize that with support, these children and youth can strive to change their lives and their worlds. The funds raised by our donors fill the gap between publicly funded services provided by the Children's Aid Societies and other agencies, and the services children need to heal from the trauma they have experienced to become healthy productive adults.

The Children's Aid Foundation is a national organization committed to improving the lives of abused and neglected children through prevention, enrichment and education.
100% of all donations will go directly to help prevent child abuse and neglect.

How can I get involved?
- Challenge yourself to Walk, Run or Wheelchair the event to support our youth.
- Once you have registered, make sure you sign up on the ARTEZ on line fundraising page. Your personalized fundraising page is easy to do and you can download a collection form.
- Collect pledges from co-workers, friends, family. Encourage them to join you!
