NeuroEndocrine Cancer (also known as "NET" cancer), affects approximately 15,000 Canadians and can be found in all parts of the body. If diagnosed early, it can be managed, but it is still frequently misdiagnosed as other less-deadly diseases, such as Crohn's.
"Team Zebra" is raising money for CNETS Canada, the only Canadian organization supporting the NET cancer community.
Join our team for a 5k walk or run, a half marathon or a marathon, and help build awareness of NET cancer while raising money to fight it.
CNETS Canada offers in-person, phone and computer-based patient support plus free patient education materials and sessions nationwide. We also fund NET cancer research and raise awareness of NETs among the medical community, health care providers, health policy makers, researchers, research funders and the general public.
