Fife House is the largest provider of housing for people living with HIV/AIDS in Canada. We have grown from a single residence with 5 individuals to six different programs housing more than 200 persons.
Since 1988, Fife House has continually expanded to meet the growing needs of an evolving population. Our model of service delivery now spans the full spectrum of housing options, from Homeless Outreach to Transitional Housing and six different Residential Programs, including addictions support, and our complex care project for people aging with HIV. These housing models are complemented by diverse community programs designed to help with isolation and marginalization.
All proceeds raised will help us provide more than 4,000 meals for our residents and clients. With limited incomes many of our residents live below the poverty line. These communal gatherings not only provide supplemental nutrition, but also act as opportunities to build community and provide social interaction.
Help us reach our goal of $10,000. Every $100 will provide 20 residents with a nutritious meal.
