Run or Walk for Fred Victor — Put the Boots to Poverty!

Fred Victor Centre

Fred Victor is a key Toronto agency serving some of the most marginalized and vulnerable populations — homeless people and those who are under-housed and living in extreme poverty. This community includes individuals, couples and families. Today, Fred Victor assists more than 8,000 people in 10 locations annually, providing access to critical programs and services such as housing, shelter, food, mental and physical health support, employment and training.

At Fred Victor, we understand that our community members may need help for several years as well as access to a wide spectrum of services to achieve stability and independence, and we respond to their needs with an innovative, intensive and client-centered approach. Our vision is for everyone to have a home and the opportunity for meaningful participation in society.

2014 marks our 120th anniversary, and our goal is to sign up a runner/walker for each year of service delivery. Please join our team Freddy@120 and help us celebrate this milestone. Your participation will help raise much needed dollars for our innovative and life-changing programs.

As a charity runner, you qualify for reduced registration fees (please contact us to receive a special pin code) and if you raise $200 or more, we will reimburse your entry fees entirely.
