The Greek Community of Toronto (GCT) is a communal institution established in 1909, incorporated in 1965 and is a registered non-profit charitable organization. Representing over 150,000 Canadians of Hellenic descent in the Greater Toronto Area, the GCT and its members share a common desire to serve and promote the objectives of our organization. They are committed to providing an environment for Greek culture and heritage to flourish, thus enriching the unique social and cultural fabric within a vibrant and diverse Canada.

You're participating in the Greek Community of Toronto Walk and Run at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Congratulations! By choosing to lace up in support of the Greek Community of Toronto you will help us raise funds that will contribute to the preservation of our Hellenic heritage and culture, Greek Education programs, Cultural programs, Church programs, and Community services. Anyone who raises $300.00 or more will be reimbursed for the sign up fee. Get family, friends and co-workers — Hellenes and Phil-Hellenes alike — involved by sponsoring you, or even joining you in the race. Register online at and select the Greek Community of Toronto team. There are three distance options, so there's an opportunity for everyone to get involved!

The marathon takes place on Sunday October 18, 2015 along Toronto's waterfront.

Greek Community of Toronto supporters will be at the event to cheer on anyone who will be walking or running for the GCT.
