Lung Cancer Canada
More people are diagnosed with lung cancer than any other type of cancer, and it remains the leading cause of cancer deaths for men and women. In fact lung cancer kills more people each year than breast, prostate and colorectal cancers combined.
Despite these facts there has been little public interest in lung cancer. Most people are unaware of the high incidence and mortality rates of this disease. However more effective treatment options are now available. In fact through ongoing research initiatives, new therapies are being developed and made available to newly diagnosed patients.
Lung Cancer Canada is a charitable organization comprised of health care professionals, private citizens, cancer patients and family members whose lives have been affected by lung cancer. Lung Cancer Canada does not receive any government funding or financial support from any other charitable institution.
Lung Cancer Canada mission is raising awareness, providing educational resources and making a difference in the lives of lung cancer patients, caregivers, friends and family members.

Mail your cheque to Lung Cancer Canada, 1896A Avenue Road, Toronto, Ontario M5M 3Z8 indicating ScotiaBank Charity Challenge Donation and the team member's name, if applicable. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $25.00 or greater.

- Complete the mandatory form fields
- Be sure to select that you are a Charity Challenge Runner
- From the drop down menu of Charity Challenge Runner: select the charity “Lung Cancer Canada”.

- Ensure you click the check box to accept the waiver
- Click submit: An information confirmation screen will appear
- Confirm that the information submitted on the form is correct
- Confirm the Registration fee amount is correct
- Click Submit: a Transaction confirmation screen will appear.

Once you have successfully registered for the event, you will receive a confirmation email of your entry from Eventsonline. You will then be directed to the online fundraising program.
