Make-A-Wish is taking part in the 2013 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Charity Challenge and we need your support! By joining Team Make-A-Wish you can raise monies to support the wishes of courageous wish children with life-threatening medical conditions, like Rachel who wished for a butterfly garden.
“Since I got cancer, nothing good had happened to me. Then Make-A-Wish built me a butterfly garden. I want all the kids who are sick to know that we are with them, and Make-A-Wish will give them a wish and that will make them happy for the rest of their life. And they'll never forget it. It's a life-changing experience. It's very hard to explain the power of a wish. But it's amazing.” — 9 year-old Rachel, Wish Child
In 2013 Make-A-Wish will grant 65 magical wishes to children in the Toronto and Central Ontario region. Wishes like Rosemary who wants to be a princess; Connor who wants to meet J.J. Abrams and Anthony's wish to go to Disney World.
Help Team Make-A-Wishraise the tens of thousands of dollars necessary for our courageous children living with life-threatening medical conditions.
