Help MukiBaum to Continue Finding Human Treasures Beyond Disabilities™

Join the children and adults that we serve at Muki Treatment Centres, our staff, families and the community in the 2011 Scotiabank Group Charity Challenge on October 16, 2011. We are honoured to be one of the 2011 Featured Charities! As a team we are proud to have raised close to $50,000.00 over the past two years and we are confident, that with help from the community, we can surpass this amount in October.

We hope you will consider joining the Match Muki Team as we walk, run and scoot in support of the The Match Muki Campaign; raising funds and awareness for children and adults with complex disabilities.

"If Muki can do it, so can you!" Born with Cerebral Palsy and deafness, Muki has single handedly raised over $600,000 for MukiBaum over the last 20 years. Since launching the "Match Muki Campaign" on July 21st, 2007 Muki and the community have raised more than $185,000.00! The funds raised in 2011 will support MukiBaum's crucial programs and services.

Founded in 1979 by Dr. Nehama Baum, MukiBaum Treatment Centres is an educational treatment organization devoted to providing compassionate specialized services for children, adolescents and adults, to allow them to lead a life of quality filled with dignity and integrity. Our expert services enables the people we serve, who have conditions such as, developmental disabilities and emotional/psychiatric disorders, i.e. dual diagnosis, autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, to develop, grow and evolve to their full potential.

We use in-depth individualized humanistic treatment modalities, which focus on the person as a whole and his/her strengths, abilities and needs.

It is our mission to provide people who have developmental and emotional disabilities with a window of opportunity, through which they will experience social inclusion, practice individual choice, become independent, fulfill their rights and be able to develop their talents, actualize their potential and their ability, achieve personal growth and become contributing members of society.
