Help us protect Ontario's wild species and wild spaces

Our Mission

Ontario Nature protects Ontario's wild species and wild spaces through conservation, education, and public engagement.

Established in 1931, Ontario Nature is a charitable, membership-based conservation organization with over 140 member groups and 30,000 individual members and supporters. This grassroots network is the strength of Ontario Nature, allowing us to carry out successful local projects, as well as national and provincial initiatives.

Ontario Nature owns and manages 21 nature reserves across southern Ontario, totaling over 2040 hectares (5000 acres). We provide education and hands-on conservation activities for people of all ages and work tirelessly to protect the endangered species and habitats of this province.
