Pueblito Canada Inc.

Run, walk or jog your way towards a brighter future for children in Latin America! When you support Pueblito Canada in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Charity Challenge, each step you take will help provide these children with the education and support they deserve.

Pueblito is an international development agency, started in 1974 when a group of passionate Canadians teamed up to found a children's village in Costa Rica. The village is an alternative to orphanages and a place for at-risk youth to grow up in a family environment. We take our name from this original project — pueblito is Spanish for "little village."

Pueblito continues this legacy by designing education projects through arts-based learning and culturally appropriate bilingual education. Through partnership with teachers, parents and community leaders, the lives of each and every young person in our target communities are changed.

Ready to become an important part of our little village? Let us take care of your race registration for you and get a discounted registration fee. Email Emelia Horn at fundraising@pueblito.org, and you'll be ready to race towards your fundraising goals before you can say 'Ready, set, go!'
