For more than 100 years St. Joseph's Health Centre has served the health care needs of the diverse communities of South West Toronto. Our Mission is founded in the legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph and we are proud that we are able to continue their tradition of care that reflects the universal values of respect, dignity and compassion.
Today, our community teaching hospital is in the home stretch of a major redevelopment. The crowning achievement of this plan is the $73 million Our Lady of Mercy (OLM) wing at Sunnyside avenue. The new OLM Wing, which is scheduled for completion in 2012, is part of our commitment to you to continue our tradition of providing care for our tiniest patients. The Wing will contain a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a new Paediatric Unit and expanded Family Birthing Centre a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit, as well as Adult Inpatient care.
