Youth Assisting Youth

Creating Futures Where You Make a Difference

Youth violence and gang related crime is on the rise and both are becoming issues of national proportion. Prevention is the key and at Youth Assisting Youth, through our peer mentoring program, we match at-risk and Newcomer kids with trained and dedicated youth mentors. Since 1976, YAYs unique service has helped over 20,000 children and youth stay on the right track.

Today, we have close to 500 kids waiting for a mentor. Your support to this successful program will be life changing! Help us find a match for these kids by walking, running or, if you would rather have your fingers do the walking, become a sponsor and donate directly to YAY through our website, www.yay.org.

Together we can make a difference and help save countless youth, their families, and our communities from the costly and devastating effects of youth crime and youth violence!

JOIN OUR TEAM! Help us reach our goal of $100,000!

If you are a runner or walker and are thinking about challenging yourself to complete a 5k, half-marathon or marathon for the first time why not accomplish your goal while helping us accomplish ours? Wed love to have you join our team on October 16 at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon.
