A university education is a wonderful thing, but some students face considerable hurdles while they pursue their degrees.
That's why we're asking for your help in continuing to raise funds for a bursary in support of students who access Counselling & Disability Services at York University.
Team York University is made up of walkers and runners from the York University community, including faculty, staff, alumni, students and friends. One of our goals besides fundraising is to registers as many participants as possible.
Together, we're taking part in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon to have fun and to support something we all have in common: we believe in giving all students the levels of access and support they need to pursue their education.
By supporting our Team York University with a donation, you'll help us to sustain an annual bursary for students in need.
This year, our team goal is to raise over $8,000 that will be put towards this bursary.
So, show your support for York students and Counselling & Disability Services for by sponsoring our team today!
Team York University has two main goals: to fundraise and to have as many participants as possible. The team is open to anybody who wants to join, so if you'd like to run or walk and raise funds for York students we'd love to have you on our team!
