Is there a pasta dinner?
Yes, details as follows:
- Sheraton Centre Hotel, Downtown Toronto, 123 Queen Street West, Toronto, Ontario M5H 2M9
- Date: Saturday, October 15, 2011
- Times: 5:00pm, 6:30pm or 8:00pm
- Seating capacity for each time slot: 150ppl
STWM Pasta Special offer for $15 (does not include taxes & gratuity)
- Choice of daily soup or salad
- Penne Arrabiata (regular or whole wheat pasta) — add your choice of protein: chicken, fish or shrimp for an additional $6
Traders Bar & Grill's regular menu is also available.
Deadline to reserve was Monday, October 10, 2011.
Where and when do I turn in my Charity pledges?
- Do your final push to fundraise for your charity!
- Turn in all pledges to your charity before noon on Monday October 31, 2011. The nine prizes ($6000, $3000, $2000 for Most Participants, Largest Amount of Pledges, and Highest Average per Runner) will be based on totals submitted by the charities at 12:00pm on Monday October 31.
- All pledges must be turned into the Charity. The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon is unable to collect monies on behalf of the charity.
Why is the event on this date?
Until 2010, the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon typically took place on the last Sunday in September. Starting in 2011 the date has been traded with another Canada Running Series event, the Oasis ZooRun. The organizers are given the dates by the City of Toronto. The City must balance a number of run/walk events in the City in the fall season and even more events that close a number of streets.
When is next year's run?
The 2012 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon will take place on Sunday October 14, 2012.
