Where/when do I get my packet, T-shirt, timing chip, bib number?
- ALL packet pickup will take place at the Runners' Expo at
Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255 Front St. West
- Friday September 26th (11:00am - 8:00pm)
- Saturday September 27th (10:00am - 6:00pm)

Is there a pasta dinner? When and where?
Yes, here are the Focaccia Pasta Dinner details:
- Saturday, September 27th, 5pm (first seating) and 7pm (second seating)
- Location: Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Room 205
- Featuring John "The Penguin" Bingham
- Sponsored by Focaccia Restaurant
- Limited # of tickets available.
- $25.00 per person
- Purchase your ticket online when you register, or separately online until midnight Sep 23, OR at the EXPO. All Pasta Dinner ticket pick-up at "Focaccia Pasta Dinner Tickets" table, Registration Area, EXPO.

Where and when do I turn in my Charity pledges?
- Do your final push to fundraise for your charity!
- To be eligible for the Cayman Island Raffle (those who have fundraised over $1000), turn in all offline pledges directly to your charity BEFORE Friday, September 26. Otherwise, turn in all pledges to your charity before 9am on Friday October 24th, 2008. The nine prizes ($6000, $3000, $2000 for Most Participants, Largest Amount of Pledges, and Highest Average per Runner) will be based on totals submitted by the charities at 12:00pm on Friday October 24.
- All pledges must be turned into the Charity. The Toronto Waterfront Marathon is unable to collect monies on behalf of the charity.
What are the starting times and course closure times?
- Starting times:
- Marathon - 7:30am
- Half-Marathon - 7:30am
- 5k Run / Walk - 8:15am
- Course Closures:
- The marathon course will be open from 7:30am to 2:00pm, allowing a 6hr 30min marathon.
- At 12:00 noon anyone who has not made the turn from Lakeshore Boulevard back onto Leslie Street (35.5 km) will be asked to board the rear escort vehicle, to be transported to the Finish Area.
- The Half-Marathon course will be open until 11:10am (time limit 3hr 40min).
- Time limit for the 5k Run/Walk is 1 hour 10 minutes.
- After the courses close, support will be limited, and participants assume the role of pedestrians.
What are the Pace Bunny times?
These are posted in the Pacer info section — click here. Pace bunnies will be available for the marathon and half marathon.
When should I arrive?
You should arrive an hour before your start time to do any last minute things, i.e. baggage check, warm-up, port-o-let stop, etc.
Is there parking?
Yes, at the Start Area — City Hall / Nathan Phillips Square. Underground "GREEN P" City Parking available underneath the Square. Access by Queen St. West (between University Ave, and Bay St.); or, by University Ave./Armoury St. (between Queen St. W and Dundas St. W.) then Chestnut St. south. Where can I check my bag?
Gear Check will be available run morning at Nathan Phillips Square. The cost is $2 charge per bag, with proceeds going to the four featured charities. Gear check will be open from 6:30am to 2:15pm.
