It's that time of year again. Registration for the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon Media Challenge is now open.
Which outlet will take home the title of fastest media? Last year, 18 media outlets took part in the Media Challenge, and we hope to increase this number to ensure the competition in 2013 is fiercer than ever!
With over 180 local charities participating in the Scotiabank Charity Challenge, the Media Challenge is a great way to raise money for important causes.
The Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon takes place on October 20, 2013.
Entries are open to journalists, photographers, videographers, producers and editors in each of the three distance categories: marathon, half-marathon or 5k.
Scotiabank will donate prizing for the top male and female finishers in each distance category to the charity of their choice:

Media outlets are limited to 10 free entries per outlet in a combination of any or all three categories.
A work email address must be provided as proof of employment when registering for the Media Challenge.
In addition to competing for the top Media Challenge prize, you can raise money for the charity of your choice. Just mark on your registration form that you'd like us to set up a fundraising page for you. Be sure to get your non-running colleagues to sponsor you!
