NEIGHBOURHOOD CHAMPIONS WANTED! …for Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon
Are you planning on (or thinking about) running the 42k on September 30th? Why not consider running for your neighbourhood, and helping your 'hood and its charity win the Oasis Neighbourhood Challenge?
You'll get a FREE entry to the marathon, and be a featured “star”—online, in your neighbourhood and its media. All you have to do is be willing to run the whole 42K, and let the rest of the 'hood put pledges on you (online at http://www.torontowaterfrontmarathon.com) !
We need 4 local heroes and “CHAMPIONS” to run for each of the following neighbourhoods:
Bloor West/High Park
Roncesvalles/Parkdale
Liberty Village/King West/College Street & Little Italy
Harbourfront/Queens Quay/The Islands
Downtown
Cabbagetown and The Distillery District
Little Asia/South Riverdale
South Riverdale/The Docklands-Caribbean
Gerrard East-Little India
The Beaches
