Scotiabank unveils RED LACE program for Toronto Waterfront Marathon!
TORONTO. September 24th. This Friday and Saturday, September 28th and 29th, Scotiabank volunteers will be offering Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon RED LACES to the public for just a "toonie" per pair, on sale at their booth at the OASIS Running, Health & Fitness Expo. Entry to the Expo is free and open to all, as "Toronto's Running Show", in Exhibit Hall C, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255 Front St. West. Show hours are Friday, 11am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 6pm.
The special part of the RED LACE program, however, is that Scotiabank has pledged to pay a matching $2 for every runner or walker among the 13,000+ starters, who crosses the Finish Line at Metro Hall, wearing a pair of red laces on Sunday morning September 30th.
100% of all funds raised from the RED LACE program will be divided equally amongst the three Featured Charities and the National Charity Partner at this year's event: Epilepsy Toronto, Rose of Sharon, North York General Hospital Foundation and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team In Training, Canada.
