Councillor Olivia Chow, Dr. Jean Marmoreo, Giitah Macharia and a whole bunch of our Charities, led by the Purple People of Team in Training and Jeans Marines joined in the jog to the Waterfront and back.

Ed Whitlock has resounding victory in Rotterdam with another sub-3: 1-0 Canada! Whitlock nearly 14 minutes ahead of Dutch rival Joop Ruter on 10th April, in battle of ageless titans. Re-match confirmed for Waterfront Marathon, back in Toronto, September 25th!

Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon today released details on the 2005 prize purse for September 25th. The total purse of almost $70,000 is a significant increase over 2004 levels.
