Humewood House is an accredited child and youth mental health provider, serving pregnant and parenting young women (ages 13-24) and their families. With over 100 years of service, Humewood House acknowledges the strength and autonomy of young parents, and their importance within our community. Humewood House operates from a pro-choice, trauma informed, intersectional framework to empower each young woman and her children to reach their full potential.
Humewood House programs include: a residential program, high-school program on site, Daycare, counseling, post-secondary scholarship programs and 2 housing programs. Humewood Houses serve young families all over Toronto, ensuring both parents and children needs are met.
Your generous contribution will support the delivery of programs and services: it will ensure that homeless pregnant teen have a safe haven to stay at, that a young mother of two can complete her academic studies and that no child is left without food or gifts during the holiday season.
