Kawasaki Disease Canada

Kawasaki disease (KD) is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children in North America. Our mission is to promote awareness and education about Kawasaki disease, support individuals and family members affected by the disease, and advance research into the disease and its consequences. Our vision is a world free of Kawasaki disease.

Kawasaki Disease Canada is a 100% volunteer-run organization. The work we do would not be possible without all of our dedicated volunteers, who generously contribute their time, skill and passion.
Our volunteers support us by promoting awareness and education through campaigns and programs, helping affected individuals and families by sharing personal experiences and raising funds to help advance research into the disease and its consequences.
There are many volunteer opportunities, which would allow you to share your talents and help us achieve our mission. We would love to hear from you. Together, we can save a child’s heart!
