I live in the Beach south of Queen zone, how can I use my car on race morning?

By | Road Closures | No Comments

Toronto Police – Parking Enforcement has agreed to provide a “parking consideration” for existing permit holders in the “south of Queen zone” on Woodbine Mews, Buller Ave, Kippendavie Ave, Kew Beach Ave, Kew Beach Crt, Kenilworth Ave and Waverley Rd.

Permit holders can park in legal spaces on the northside of Queen St East on October 20, 2018 from 8 am to 3 pm without being penalized.

Please note that parking will NOT be permitted on Woodbine Ave. Should these permit holders receive tickets while parking within this Consideration they should contact Parking Enforcement at 416-808-6606.

Road closures along Queen St East will be from Woodbine Ave to Beech Ave, starting at 8:00 a.m. and re-opening at 3:00 p.m. However, police WILL allow traffic to cross north-south until 10:00am, when the first runners arrive.

Rather than leave the neighbourhood, consider joining the celebration and cheering on our Beach champions and the rest of the world!

I need to get to a specific location that is effected by the road closures, can you help?
