Yes, participants can transfer their entry for the 2023 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon until Monday, September 25 at 11:59pm.To transfer your bib, visit the registration page and click ‘Transfer’ in the left hand menu.

Please note that registrations are restricted to one transfer, and any participant transferring their bib to someone else is responsible for collecting the cost of registration directly from the person they are transferring it to.

If you would like to transfer your bib after September 25th, you will need to do so at the Help Desk at the Race Expo (see operating hours HERE).

How to transfer

1. The original participant sends the new participant their bib number and written permission to pick up the bib and transfer the registration.

2. The new participant will go to Race Kit Pickup and pick up the race kit, including participant shirt. The original participant does not need to be present.

3. The new participant will take this race kit to the Help Desk at Race Kit Pickup to transfer the registration.

Participants purchasing a transfer bib will receive the original registrant’s shirt size and style. There will be an opportunity to exchange the un-worn shirt after the new participant completes their race at the Help Desk on race day – AFTER you complete your race. Sizing and exchanges are not guaranteed.

The TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon does not facilitate or support the transfer of funds between participants. There is a $10 administrative fee associated with all transfers + HST and processing fees (collected by Race Roster).

NOTE – Please be cautious when purchasing race entries from unfamiliar individuals as there are scammers, and the entries they are selling may not be legitimate.

Please assess the payment method they are requesting for the registration, and note you should never exchange a gift card for a registration as this is likely a scam.

Unfortunately, if you do receive an illegitimate registration, it will not be recognized by the event.

Canada Running Series and the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon cannot offer support to any participant transfers completed outside of the official registration page hosted by Race Roster.
