Can I change the shirt size I initially requested?

You are able to change your shirt size online before the deadline of Friday September 28th.

The shirt size I requested does not fit, can I exchange it?

If you have picked up your race kit and realized that your shirt doesn’t fit you will be able to exchange the shirt after the race.

Please bring your unworn race shirt to the information desk after the event and we would be happy to exchange it. There might be limited shirt sizes available after the race.

What happens if the event sells out?

Will you be posting the percentage of registrations on your website as events get near full?

We will be posting updates on our social media accounts with updates on registration numbers.

Our events regularly sell out, so register as soon a possible to avoid disappointment.

Can I sign up for a waiting list in the event that a registered participant opts not to run?

If an event sells out, we do not start a wait list.

You are able to find a person with a registration is no longer interested in participating, and transfer the registration.

I can see that there are lots of people who would still like to register, why can’t you increase the capacity?

Unfortunately we are not able to increase the capacity of our event. The capacity is based on a variety of aspects including participant safety, road closure timing, participant resources, and many other aspects. With these elements in mind, we are not able to increase the capacity at this time.

Are you able to connect me someone who is interested in transferring bibs?

We do not have a waitlist for our events, and because of that are not able to connect you with someone who is interesting in transferring bibs.

Can I purchase gift certificates for race registrations?

Yes, you can purchase gift registrations for all of our events. When you visit the event registration page, on the left side menu you will see “Gift Registrations”.

We do not offer general Canada Running Series gift certificates, all gift certificates need to be race and distance specific. Participants are always able to transfer distances if need be.

You will need to select which sub-event you would like to purchase as a gift. After you checkout, Race Roster will e-mail you a unique code for you to pass along to that special someone.

What if someone cannot use their gift certificate?

Can I pay for my registration with cash or cheque?

If you would like to pay cash for your registration you can fill out the paper registration and drop it off with cash to the Canada Running Series offices at 264 The Esplande.

Can I be invoiced for my registration?

We do not offer invoicing as a payment option for individual registrations.

When will I receive the registration confirmation?

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your registration is confirmed.

If you did not receive a confirmation please follow these steps

  • Sign In to your Participant Dashboard 
  • Select “My Transaction History” on left hand side of the page
  • Navigate to the section labelled ‘My Transactions’ (in blue) and scroll down to view the registration in question
  • On the far right under ‘Notes’ click ‘Receipt’
  • A link will pop open with a PDF file version of your receipt, please download

Can I change my corral?

  1. Go to your Race Roster Dashboard (Use your email associated with your registration and enter your password, or create an account.)
  2. You will now be on your participant dashboard
  3. Confirm that you are editing the correct event, by looking beside the race roster logo at the top left hand part of your screen.

Changes cannot be made online after Friday September 27th at midnight.

After the deadline for online changes, all changes must be made at the help desk at the Race Expo

Can I get a refund?

Entry fees will not be refunded or reimbursed.

It is the responsibility of the entrant to pick up their race kit from registration.

Race kits will not be mailed prior to or after the event. T-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be available after the event has taken place.

Can I cancel due to injury or unforeseen circumstances?

You can elect to cancel your entry and receive a code good for 50% off the next year’s STWM event. The code will be issued to you once online registration opens for the next year and cannot be deferred a second time.

Please e-mail info@canadarunningseries.com with your request for the 50% off deferral code.

Those who opted to cancel their entry should note:

  • Registration fees are nonrefundable
  • You will not be assigned a bib number for the event
  • You will not receive a participant packet, bag or running shirt for the event

When do I get my bib number?

You will receive an email 1 week prior to the event with your bib number. If you registered multiple participants with one email account, then you will only receive an email for one participant.

Can I have a custom bib number?

Bib numbers are assigned automatically, and we are not able to accommodate custom numbers.

How do I get my first name to be printed on my bib?

If you have registered before the September 27th deadline your first name will automatically be printed on your bib.

I did not receive a bib number, how can I pick up my race kit?

You will be able to look up your bib number at packet pickup.

If you registered after the name deadline you will need to have your bib number assigned at the Registration Kiosk at the Running, Health and Fitness Expo.

What are the age requirements?

How old must I be on Race Day?

Full marathon participants must be 18 years old on race day.

Half-Marathon participants must be 16 years old on race day.

Can children participate?

Yes, in the 5k Event.

Everyone participating in this event must be registered — including children that are not in a stroller.

We highly recommend that children under the age of 12, participating in the 5k event, are accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. This is for the safety of the child, as the 5k event has approximately 8000 participants.
